The loaded sub enclosure boasts impressive features, such as a final impedance of 2 ohms, a peak power handling capacity of 1600 watts, and a CEA-2031 compliant RMS power handling of 400 watts. The enclosure is constructed with ¾" MDF, which is bonded, stapled, and braced for enhanced durability. The computer-designed vents and 15% angled design ensure perfect bass alignment, while the high-quality aviation-grade tweed carpet and satin nickel speaker wire push terminals add a touch of style.
Inside the enclosure, you'll find 1.5" 4-layer black aluminum voice coils wound with OFC (100% copper) wire imported from Japan, ensuring superior quality and performance. The 30 oz high-quality magnet, cast iron basket with a black sanded finish, and fiber-reinforced ultra-stiff black non-pressed paper cone contribute to the subwoofer's efficiency and output.
The Rockville dB11 amplifier that accompanies the subwoofer enclosure is a 1400w/700w RMS 2-ohm Class-D mono car amplifier with a bass remote. It is CEA-compliant, delivering 350 watts x 1 channel at 2 ohms and 220 watts x 1 channel at 4 ohms, with a peak power rating of 1400 watts x 1 channel at 2 ohms.
